Shannon Stoneking is a strategic communications leader with expertise in crisis communications, executive communications, organizational change, and media relations across government, military, and Fortune 500 organizations. Throughout her career, she has advised senior leaders during high-stakes moments, helping organizations navigate crises, workforce transformation, reputational challenges, and complex public narratives with clarity and confidence. Her experience spans corporate, federal, and military environments where clear communication and rapid response are critical.

Stoneking has led communications initiatives for major organizations including Thermo Fisher Scientific, Corteva Agriscience, UnitedHealth Group, and the Internal Revenue Service. Her work has included directing global change communications during reductions in force, plant closures, leadership transitions, corporate restructures, and enterprise-wide engagement campaigns impacting thousands of employees worldwide. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as Crisis Communications Lead and a member of the corporate Crisis Management Team at Corteva Agriscience, developing rapid-response communications strategies that supported global operations and frontline employees during a period of uncertainty and disruption.

Prior to her corporate leadership roles, Stoneking served as a Public Affairs Officer in the United States Air Force, including as a Pentagon Air Force Press Desk Officer. In that role, she responded directly to national media inquiries involving crisis events, including active shooter incidents and deployment fatalities, while supporting senior military leadership through press conferences, media interviews, and strategic communications operations.
